Media City’s presence in Greater Manchester has made media and creative industries a core element of the region’s offer, so it makes total sense that another major broadcaster is considering locating its headquarters in the region.

 

Our large and qualified labour force, well-connected housing in a variety of neighbourhoods and great quality of life, as well as the links to universities and other media clusters meet all the requirements for a major employer, like Channel 4.  

The presence of the broadcaster would cement the North West’s status as a media and tech powerhouse and further support the region’s success in attracting and locating the right institutions to fuel educational opportunities, investment, jobs and growth, giving the region the attention it deserves as a true rival to London and the South East.
