Barton Willmore has successfully been chosen to become a ‘Learning Partner’ for the Royal Institute of Town Planners (RTPI), in recognition of our commitment to the training and development of our team.
RTPI Learning Partner status is described as a mark in excellence of learning and development practices for which employers of planners have been measured against a set of key indicators of best practice to show their commitment to developing their staff.
Sophie Harlow, Learning and Development Adviser at Barton Willmore said: “By achieving RTPI Learning Partner status we’ve been able to demonstrate to the RTPI that we can be one step ahead and truly value our staff and supporting planners at all levels in achieving their potential.
"Our staff have always had a variety of opportunities for professional development within the practice and we pride ourselves on the opportunities that we can make for our team across all levels so it’s fantastic to have this work recognised by the RTPI”.
In the feedback from the body, our extensive CPD and training programme, commitment to licentiates and our equal opportunities, including funded study trips, were commended by the RTPI, contributing to the award of the partnership status.
