This year we took it back to basics for the Barton Willmore Christmas card and tasked our team with hand drawing an alternative Nativity Shelter.
With the winning card design being chosen by our Managing Partner, Stephen Toole and Jeannie Pitt from Shelter, we also decided to add a 'people's choice' award, given the quality of all the entries recieved.
Matthew Trapnell, Associate Architect and Urban Designer from our Bristol office was both the judge's and people's choice winner - see image right. Matthew's snowdrift depicts the Shelter logo itself warmly welcoming everyone from society, including the historic nativity figures, reflecting their inclusivity and drive for positive change to the homelessness challenges across the UK.
For each entry reiceved we donated £50 to Shelter, whilst we will also be donating the cost of what we would have spent on sending paper cards to our clients.
Below is a gallery of all of the fabulous entries. We hope that you enjoy them as much as we did.
Wishing you and your families a wonderful Christmas.
