Our Edinburgh team is delighted to announce that the Pennywell regeneration project, by developer Urban Union and constructed by Robertson Group has been shortlisted by The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) in their annual Awards, which celebrate the best of Scottish Architecture.
The large urban regeneration project includes over 700 new dwellings and associated public realm, comprising four different brownfield areas with existing communities between them, linking the old and the new.
Our Architecture team’s sustainable approach is reflected in the building specification, which includes enhanced building fabric, efficient boilers, mechanical ventilation and heat recovery. As well as this, the design is also tenure blind and includes a variety of wheelchair dwellings. in addition the Edinburgh team have provided landscape design and town planning services.
