News: 25 October 2018Five new Directors promoted

We are celebrating the success and achievements of our growing workforce by promoting over 30 colleagues from across the business. The promotions, which feature more females than males, account for around 10% of the 370 strong people within the business.

Among those who were promoted from Associate to Director level were:

Peter Roberts – Planning Director, Bristol

Peter joined Barton Willmore in 2009 as a Senior Planner. He has worked on a number of landmark schemes across the South West. This includes the transformation of the 19 hectare former MOD Combe Down scheme in Bath that will feature 700 new homes, a community hub, a new primary school, arts pavilion and retail space.

Marie Jasper – Planning Director, London

Marie has been at Barton Willmore since 2006. Initially joining as a Senior before being promoted to the role of Associate in 2010. She recently secured planning permission for the redevelopment of the Mall in Walthamstow, which is a scheme for 500 new homes in four 30-storey towers above a 12,000 sqm retail extension.

Dan Osborne – Planning Director, London

Dan joined Barton Willmore in 2012 as an Associate and advises a mix of residential and commercial clients, including Barratt London, HUB Residential, Bell Hammer and SEGRO.  He has worked on a number of high-profile schemes in and out of London, including the redevelopment of the former Nestle factory in Hayes, Abbey Place in Abbey Wood and Assembly Bristol.

Alexandra Marsh - Legal Director, Reading

Alexandra is a qualified Solicitor who will lead Barton Willmore’s legal and compliance team, providing in-house advice across the Practice. Prior to joining the organisation in 2016, she worked in the private sector in both London and Oxfordshire.  

Rebecca Horrocks – Planning Director, Southampton

Rebecca has been working in the planning sector for 12 years, most recently leading on the regeneration of the former power station at Holes Bay in Poole. This will deliver up to 850 high quality new homes, including family housing and waterside apartments.
