Dan joined Barton Willmore in 2011 and is a chartered town planner with over 13 years’ experience in the public and private sector, at home and overseas. This experience has covered Development Management, Enforcement, and Policy roles.

As a member of the national Development Economics team, Dan specialises in housing need evidence.  He has acted as Expert Witness in respect of the Objective Assessment of Housing Need (OAN) at a number of Public Inquiries on behalf of national housebuilders and land owners. He has also represented clients at Local Plan Examination hearings, leading on OAN. Dan also prepares more local-level evidence in respect of housing need required at the settlement level, as well as evidence to support a client’s preferred housing mix.

Dan has been a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2009.
