Edward Pavillion

Edward Pavilion forms part of the Grade I listed Albert Dock complex. The site occupies a prominent position along the waterfront and within the Albert Docks Conservation Area and the World Heritage Site.

The project involved providing specialist heritage advice on the strip out and refit works to the listed building. Acting as agent and working closely with Malcolm Hollis Building Consultants, a Certificate of Lawfulness for the strip out of modern office fabric and Listed Building Consent for the refit were secured for the client.

Project Details

Albert Dock was one of the world’s first enclosed commercial docks.

  • 70,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation

The project will result in the sensitive refurbishment of this iconic building to provide modern and flexible office accommodation within the City. The works will also see the reversal of previous works to the building, not considered to be in keeping with its historic character.
