After the Lancaseter Moor Hospital closed in 1999, many of the buildings on site had fallen into disrepair. The 9 hectare scheme sees renewal through the restoration of the prominent Grade II listed hospital annexe, while providing up to 440 apartments and houses.
One of Lancashire’s iconic landmarks since 1832.
- Restoration of the prominent Grade II listed hospital annexe
- Up to 440 apartments and houses
- Attractive character areas and public spaces
Members of the Planning Committee were fully supportive of the well-designed scheme, which utilises existing strong tree belts and topography to create a development with attractive character areas and public spaces. Furthermore, the development has cross-funded the renovation of the adjacent heritage assets.
