Following the merger of the former Leeds Girls' High School and Leeds Grammar to form the Grammar School at Leeds, we obtained outline planning permission for the Morley House Trust as part of a wider redevelopment of their former sites in the Headingley area.
Following this, more detailed proposals were promoted on behalf of Stonebridge Homes, which have been delivered on site.
The site is currently being redeveloped into a £20 million residential scheme incorporating a mix of townhouses and apartments. It will provide 101 premium homes in a parkland setting, on the edge of the city centre. Maximum care has been taken to create a new community, while making sure the plans are sympathetic to the local environment.
- £20 million residential scheme
- 101 premium homes

Given the technicalities of the site, the development required an application for Conservation Area Consent for demolition, a hybrid planning permission for the conversion of existing properties and new development in the school grounds and an application for Listed Building Consent.
