Marshgate Lane

The Marshgate site is one of the earliest sites to come forward for development in this region of the Lower Lea Valley. The site’s location puts it close to the east/west movement corridors of Stratford High Street, The Greenway and DLR and perhaps more importantly, on a new strategic north/south connection from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to the future communities of Sugar House Lane and Three Mills.

The Bow Back River runs along the sites eastern and southern boundaries, a great asset for the scheme. The public realm proposals are mindful they are part of a wider network of waterways and respond to the regional aspiration to improve the quality of the waterside environment and provide physical access.
