Our teams secured temporary three year planning permission in December 2015 for the construction of a 2 hectare wellsite to undertake exploration for conventional hydrocarbons in the North York Moors National Park. The site lies within 125m of the North York Moors SAC/SPA/SSSI in a sensitive part of the National Park. The permission includes a new access and enables an underground drilling corridor to be drilled for a distance of 1.34 km in a south westerly direction.
