Stoford Developments Ltd retained Barton Willmore to advise on this strategic employment site and the delivery of 145,728 sqm of B1/B2/B8 land, following their acquisition of the site in 2014. Barton Willmore had previously advised the then Regional Development Agency and County Council on the site since 2008, and had secured an initial planning permission, in outline, in 2011 on the behalf of the RDA. Since Stoford have acquired the site, a series of Reserved Matters Applications have been submitted and approved and work has started on site.

The original 2011 consent was replaced with a more flexible planning permission following a Section 73 planning application. We have since secured reserved matters consent for B1 offices, and a scheme for 20,000sqm of B2/B8 is being determined later in June 2016 by the Council, recommended for approval. Works on site have commenced with key infrastructure nearing completion.
